Wanda Elizabeth (Black) Henry, 87 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia.
She was born on September 7, 1928 in McNeil, Arkansas to the late James Grady and Eunice Agnes (Rogers) Black. She was employed at Shanhouse for many years and a member of the Overcomers Sunday School Class at Central Baptist Church in Magnolia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Turner Teague Henry.
Wanda is survived by her son Mike Henry and wife Suzanne of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; daughter Cindy Gunnels and husband John Ed of Magnolia; brother Bobby Black and wife Edith of Magnolia; five grandsons, Bob and Darla Henry of Little Rock, Arkansas, Brian and Elizabeth Henry of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, Eric and Melinda Henry of Texarkana, Texas, Corey Williamson of Cave Springs, Arkansas, and Caleb Gunnels of Magnolia; a granddaughter Christy and Jared McNeil of Emerson; and six great grandchildren, Hunter McNeil, Max Henry, Cooper Henry, Addison McNeil, Sydney Henry, and Hayden Henry.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at Shiloh Cemetery with Dr. Eric Goble and Robert Gunnels officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home
