Lawrence "Larry" J. Yearly, age 80 of Ft Myers, FL passed away Sun Oct 6, 202 at the Shady Rest Care pavilion in Ft Myers.
Larry was born in Riverside, NJ and had been a resident of Montgomeryville, PA until 1981 when he moved back to Riverside. More recently Larry was a resident of Ft Myers. Larry was a former parishioner of St Peter's RC Church in Riverside and served his country proudly in the US Army during WWII. Lary is a Magnum Cum Laude Graduate of Lasalle UN, class of 1951. Larry worked as a planning officer for the US Civil Service Commission for many years before retiring in 1970.
Mr. Yearly is survived by his nieces Bonnie Brown of Cape Coral, FL, Jean Marie Gibbons of Lavonia, GA and his nephew Ted and his wife Joyce Yanuzis of Las Vegas, NV. Larry is also the brother of the late Dorothy Ruth Yanuzis.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather Sat 8:30-9:30am at Sweeny Funeral Home, Riverside. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am at St Peter's Church. Inurnment will follow at St Peter's Cemetery.
