SAN FIDEL — Services for Richard Addis, 82, were held at 10 a.m., today at Mission San Rafael. Father Gil Mangampo
officiated. Burial followed at Grants Memorial Park.
Addis died Feb. 26 inSan Fidel. He was born Dec. 30, 1919 in Gloucester, N.J.
Addis received a commission from the U.S. Coast Guard and graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy of New London, Conn. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a lt. Commander. He was a member of the Retired Officers
Association, Sheriffs Reserve Officer Association of California, Florida Sheriffs Association and the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Teresa Aguilar Addis of San Fidel; daughters, Norma Jean Klinger of Phoenix and Lucinda
"Cindy" Trujillo of San Fidel; sister, Norma Jean Lawrence of Tampa, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the U.S. Coast Guard Burial Detail
