Glyndol Commander, 83, widow of Jesse Coy Commander, passed away Monday, January 16, 2006, in Chautauqua Health Care Center. She was born June 5, 1922, the daughter of Ray and Viney Miles Bedsole.
Among survivers are her sons, James Rayford Commander and wife, Carolyn of DeFuniak Springs, Dr. Jonathan Coy Commander and wife, Julie, of Auburn, AL; her daughter, Janice Andrews, of Darlington, FL; her grandchildren, Jeremy Commander, Rogelyn, Josh, Thomas, David and Jessica Andrews, Jennifer, Jared and Joy Commander; her sisters, Ann Wilson and husband, Paul, of Enterprise, AL and Mary Andrews and husband, Buddy, of Pensacola, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 20. 2006 at 10 a.m. in Jerry Evans Chapel. Burial will follow in New Ponce de Leon Cemetery,
