"Else" was a daughter of Benjamin Rawlins/Rollins (1678-1740) and Elizabeth Drew (b. 1682) or Sarah Palmer. [?]

She was born in 1701 in Exeter, and died in 1801 in Notthingham. According to the stone monument, they came from Newbury, MA in 1727 and built a cabin in Notthingham.

Joseph and Else had the following children:

- Abigail Cilley 1726–1834 m. ZephaniaButler (Abigail raised Fortune" or "Fort", a son of her father's slaves Tony and Lettice. Fort went to Boston, became rich, and had an estate worth $75K, as per memories of Betsy Butler Stephens, Feb. 1912.)
- Anna Cilley 1726– m. John Mills
- Alice Cilley 1730– (died young?)
- Polly Cilley 1730–1813 (aka Mary) m. Richard Sinclair, Sr.
