David Michael Rico was born December 23, 1957 and was taken home by his angels June 24, 2006, to be reunited with his father, Alfonso L. Rico. Davey will be greatly missed by his family whom loved him dearly. Dave's life was his family and the love of his life, Jami. Dave will be survived by Helen Rico, his mother and closest friend; his girls, Racquel, Olivia and Alexandria; sons, James and Eastton; grandsons, Bronson and Thomas; and goddaughter Jisenia; his special Tia Ma Luiza Rico Lopez; brothers, Alfonzo Jr., Hugo, James, Tony, and Ralph; sisters, Mary and Connie. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, friends, family, co-workers and so many that his spirit has touched. He will always be our "Daddy", "Hubby", "Do-wop Diddy", and our #1 Hero. "We love you Houge". Until we meet again. Love you always and forever. Your family and your Mamasita`. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox St. There will be a viewing Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the church where Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a viewing Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
