Archie Lorenzo Simmons age 72 passed away at Saint Francis Hospital on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Archie was born January 12, 1943 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Hattic Simmons and Lucille (Nicholson) Simmons.

In 1963 he graduated from Manuel Training High School in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He continued his education at Tulsa Community College and earned an Associate's Degree. Archie served in the United States Army. He worked as a mechanic for American Airlines

He was preceded in death by his parents Hattic and Lucille Simmons, his sister Patricia Simmons and brother Daniel Simmons.

Archie is survived by his wife, his four children, three brothers and sisters, his two daughter in-laws, his seven grandchildren, along with other family members, friends and acquaintances.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 2, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Home 719 E. 141stStreet, Glenpool , Oklahoma.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Schaudt's Funeral Home in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Scott Gordon will officiate.

He will be laid to rest at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

Arrangements were entrusted to Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
