Kathleen , Georgia - William Vines Jackson, Sr, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 29, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Services will be held on Friday October 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in First Freewill Baptist Church in Warner Robins on Brady Drive. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum, Veterans Plaza. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 1, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Reverend Jimmy Rozier and Reverend Jesse Bowen will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The First Freewill Baptist Church of Warner Robins. William was born February 25, 1934 in Macon, Georgia to the late Lewis and Ethel Jackson. He was a member and trustee of First Freewill Baptist Church of Warner Robins as well as a Gospel Group "Sunnyland Singers." He was a retired Sheet Metal Mechanic and also worked for 13 years for Cochran Motor Company. His hobby was to work on old vehicles and restore them to their original beauty. He was a master guitar and mandolin player for 75 years. He is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
