HICKORY – Minnie Rebecca Sanders Anderson, 70, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, at her home after a period of declining health.

Minnie was born on February 19, 1945 in Catawba County to the late Dault Sanders and Maggie Helton Sanders.

Minnie had retired from Sipes Carving Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband Rayford Larry Anderson in 1996.

Surviving are three daughters; Deloris Ellis and her husband, Randy of Louisiana, Barbara Gragg and husband, Brent of Lenoir, Glenda Bartlett and husband, James of Newton, two sons; Richard Lowman and Fiancé, Donna Kirby of Hickory, Harold Stiles of Hickory, grandchildren; Daren, Matthew, Breana, Randy, Tonya, Tosha and Jesse and nine great grandchildren; brother Thomas James Helton of Hickory and a sister-in-law, Lillian Anderson of Hickory.

The family will receive friends on Thursday October 1st from 1:45 PM until 2:45 PM at Hickory Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be Thursday, October 1st, at 3:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home with Reverend Tracey Mull officiating. Interment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
