Jacob was the son of Ezell and Addie Langford Robinson. He married Waudean Hood July 11, 1948. they had 7 children. Jacob owned Robinson's Barbershop for over 60 years; started as a barber in 1948 and after the war continued in his profession until 2014. He worked for A.E. Staley for 20 years, cutting hair in the evenings at home.
He was proceded in death by his wife; parents; brothers, Blair, Levander Sr., Ezell Jr. and James; sisters, Gracie Stewart, Martha Enge, Ida Bell Hooks, Rosie Hudson, Annie Lee Macklin, Lille Mae Mitchum and Mary Lee Voss.
