Walter Carr passed away suddenly at his home in Sedalia September 29, 2015. He was 50 years of age. Walter “Wally” Wayne Carr, Jr. was born November 18, 1964 to Walter Wayne and Betty Lou (Griggs) Carr. He graduated from Fayette High School in 1982 and from Moberly Area Junior College several years later. Wally had farmed in Howard County and had also trimmed trees and worked in construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and boating. Wally is survived by his son, Carl Wayne Carr of Columbia, his special friend and companion, Karen Shelby of Sedalia, his mother, Betty White of Fayette, his father and step-mother, Wayne and Wanda Carr of Fayette, two sisters, Shari (Mark) Fisher and Wanda (Larry) Fuemmeler all of Fayette and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be 11 AM, Saturday, October 3 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with a visitation a half hour before the service, 10:30 to 11 AM. Burial will be in Perche Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
