Barbara Marshall, 62, of the Woods Chapel community in Roane County,
Janie Price Deering, 56, of Oak Ridge,

Barbara Marshall, 62, of the Woods Chapel community in Roane County, died
Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, at her home.
Barbara Marshall was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Roane County, the daughter of
Vander Murray and Martha Parrott Murray.
She lived in California for 27 years before moving back to Tennessee 16 years
ago.
She was a member of the Elverton Baptist Church. She worked for Hughes
Aviation Corporation in California as an assembly supervisor for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Llwellen Marshall; and by two brothers and one sister, Charles and Gene
Murray, and Lenoir Collins.
She is survived by two brothers, Bobby Murray, and Bill Murray and wife,
Geneva, all of the Elverton community in Roane County; and by three sisters,
Lorene Nelson of Oliver Springs, Myrtle Woods of Harriman, and Lucille Campbell of
Oliver Springs.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2005, at the
Elverton Cemetery with the Rev. Clinton Pickard officiating.
Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
