She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayfield and a homemaker.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by her son, Barry (Carla) McDonald of Mayfield, KY and one granddaughter, Courtney Rae McDonald of Washington, D.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis W. “Coach Mac” McDonald and her parents, Raymond and Betty Carter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Carter McDonald will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield, KY. Rev. David Whaley will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Don Sparks, Bob Sparks, Paul Leahy, Jack Morris, Richard Chapman and Greg Cook. Joe David Smith will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
