Ann Gastley Payne, age 68, of Cornelia, was formerly employed with Hammond Tax Service and was also a substitute teacher with Habersham County School System. She was a member of Good News Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and her beloved dogs, Tootie, MayMay and Tiny.
She was preceded in death earlier this month by her husband, Thomas J. Payne, Jr. Her parents Curtis and Blanche Woodall Gastley and grandchild, Draven Payne Umbehant also preceded her. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, David and Angela Payne; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Matt Umbehant; and four grandchildren.
