BEN BRONSON PASSES AWAY
Ex-Resident of Franklin Dies at Meridian, Miss., at Home of His Brother
Ben F. Bronson, age 85, a retired railroad conductor and former resident of Franklin, died this week in Meridian, Miss, at the home of a brother, C. A. Bronson.
He became ill there three weeks ago while on his way to Indiana from his home in Santa Ana, California. He had resided in California for the past seven years.
The body will arrive here by train….Burial will take place in Greenlawn cemetery here.
Mr. Bronson was born near Sparta, Tenn., and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Bronson. His parents were residents of Franklin for a number of years and are buried in Greenlawn.
His wife preceded him in death. The couple had no children. The brother and seven sisters survive.
