Fatal Accident
Stepped into Open Cellar Way and Fractured Skull
Piedmont, W Va, March 21
Mr C D Sheehan met his death in a tragic manner at the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr John N Gill on Back Street where he and his wife has spent the evening. About nine o'clock, he went outdoors and accidentally stepped into the open cellar way, fracturing his skull which resulted in his death. He was aged 29 years. Mr Sheehan was born and lived at Martinsburg until last April when he came to Piedmont. On June 17, 1902, he was married to Miss Hannah Thompson, daughter of the late Peter Thompson, who survives him, as does one brother, Mr Joseph P Sheehan of this place. The funeral took place from St Peter's Catholic Church, Thursday morning with High Requiem Mass
