MILLERSBURG - Rachael C. Shaffer, 70, of 129 Market St. died yesterday in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg. She was a coordinator for Meals-on-Wheels here and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, its Altar Guild and Golden Rule Sunday School Class, Lykens Eastern Star Chapter 425, Amaranth Court 134, VFW Auxiliary Unit 5597 and Pleasant Hill Grange 1358, Killinger. Surviving are her husband, Allen Shaffer. Surviving are two sisters, Pauline Maurer of Herndon RD and Helen Deppen of Red Cross; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in her church. Private burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be from 6: 30 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Hoover Funeral Home, where Eastern Star services will be held at 9 p.m. tomorrow, and 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday in her church.
