Last Thursday evening Miss Millie Cooley arrived home from Omaha. Her physician there said she couldn't live 24 hours. She died Friday, 25th inst. It has been feared for several months that she had the quick consumption which proved to be the case.
Millie G. Cooley was born near Albion Jan. 15th, 1876. She grew to young womanhood in our midst. She learned stenography and typewriting at Fremont, and secured a situation in Omaha, which she held for over five years.
She joined the Christian Church in Omaha some three years ago.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the M. E. Church, the services being conducted by D. J. Poynter, assisted by Rev. J. B. Priest. A large number attended the last sad rites in memory of the deceased.
