Vickie Scott Rogers, 73, of Castalia, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015 in Stein Hospice Care Center.

She was born on November 9, 1941 in Varney, W. Va., the daughter of the late Floyd Scott and Matilda (Varney) Scott. She attended both Sandusky and Margaretta Schools, graduating in 1960. She worked at The Rail and also owned Vickie’s Restaurant & Pub.

Vickie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Eleanor Chapter, Thomas Nill Relief Corp., and the AMVETS Auxiliary. She loved pool, as both a player and a sponsor. She enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her classmates, and weekly lunch and pinochle. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family.

Vickie is survived by her daughters, Beckie Lombardy, of Perrysburg, NY, and Barbara (Todd) Allison, of Sandusky; son, Craig R. Smith, of Sandusky; seven grandchildren, Ian Ramaley, Haley Ryf, Jordan Smith, Emmie Smith, Abbie Smith, Rilea Lombardy, and Jovi Lombardy; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Anita (Thomas) Ferrell, of Sandusky, Rose Sammarco, of Port Clinton, and Peggy (Doug) Monk, of Toledo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, in infancy, Harriett Scott, and sister, Gail McConville,

At Vickie’s request, there will be no services. Cremation will take place.
