Myrtle Blackler Thomas, age 91, died in Salt Lake City, Utah December 4, 1990.

She was born October 1, 1899 in Park City, Utah to Alfred and Mary Ann Martin Blackler. On October 11, 1917 she married Bertie Thomas in Park City, Utah. Bertie preceded her in death on November 21, 1985.

Myrtle was a member of the Methodist Church in Copperton, Utah and an active member of the Martha Chapter of the O.E.S. Former resident of Bingham Canyon and Lark, Utah.

Survivors: grandchildren, Valerie Bierlein, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Kent Stauffer, Greeley, Colorado; Cathy Pruitt, Arvada, Colorado; Leslie Lewis, Erie, Colorado; Jill Bliven, Denver, Colorado; also eight great grandchildren; niece and nephew, Beatrice and John Pringle, Denver, Colorado. Preceded in death by a daughter, Alida Stauffer; sisters, Olive and Ethel; brother, Bill.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 1990, 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 South State, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
