Johnnie Willie Konarik was born May 23rd 1923 to Petr and Rosie Konarik. On August 1st he joined the Navy, he served till February 20, 1946. After his service he met Georgia Kutra; they united in marriage on May 11, 1967. The were happily married for 48 years. He was employed at W-K-M for 33 years until his retirement in 1988. He and his wife traveled a lot a trip to California to a reunion of the U.S.S. Collingsworth, the ship he was on.

In 1956 he and a few men from Sealy created the Sealy Little League. He and James Schaffner coached the Cardinals. He was loved by so many people. All sporting events of any Sealy Tiger game, he was there. He became a fixture on the bleachers, every and all the students called him PO-PO. He was an extremely big fan of Coach T.J. Mills. He had a smile that wouldn't stop and was infectious.

His other love was joining the P.O.L.K.A club of America. Him and his wife loved to dance and traveled to as many dances as they could. At one time they were crowned King and Queen of the club.

He went to be with the Lord on September 27th 2015 at 6:07 PM, and was met by his loving wife Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Kutra Konarik; parents, Petr and Rosie Konarik; two brothers, Pete and Stanley Konarik; and one sister, Adela Kutra.

He survived by one sister, Rosalee Zapalac; Margie Susen, daughter; daughter and son-in-law, Randy and Georgia Lynn Hinze; son, Johnnie R. Konarik and daughter-in-law Karen Konarik; grandchildren, Kelly and Pete Snyder, Vanessa Trichel and Leonard Rogers, Jeffery and Kelly Hinze, Kerry and Jeffrey Kovar, Fallon and Robert Navarro, Whitney Konarik and David Torres, and Caitlin Konarik and D.J. Janosky; great-great-grandchildren, Tyler, U.S Army Specialist, Keegn and Raygen Snyder, Dylan Rogers, Adelyn and Lyndi Hinze, Luke and Mason Kovar, Ressa, Razzie, and Randi Jo Navarro, and Kinley and Denton Janosky.

Pallbearers- Jeffery Hinze, Tyler Snyder, Keegan Snyder, Jeffery Kovar, Pete Snyder, Luke Kovar, Robert Novarro, Leonard Rogers, D.J. Janosky, David Torres. Honorary Pallbearers- Mason Kovar, Dylan Rogers, Denton and Kinley Janosky, Addy and Lyndi Hinze, Ressa, Razzie and Randy Jo Navarro.
