As a youth, Conrad enjoyed drag-racing Harleys and restoring and riding Indian motorcycles. As an Army veteran, he was a member of the 11th Airborne Division. As a mechanical engineer, Conrad worked diligently for 53 years at DuPage Machine Products until his retirement in 2011.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing the guitar and harmonica, and fishing. A soft-spoken, tender-hearted man who stood by his principles, Conrad was a faithful and loving family man, always doing his best and desiring the best for others. Above all, he was a man of integrity who trusted in Jesus and loved deeply.
