Carthage (IL) -- Paul H. Boulton, 56, rural Carthage, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning (July 31, 1984) at his home.
He was born December 19, 1927, in Columbus City, Iowa, to Frank and Bonnie Hopkins Boulton. He married Dorothy Lucille Nunn September 4, 1948, in Burlington, Iowa.
Mr. Boulton farmed in Sperry and Mediapolis, Iowa, and was a dealer for Phizer DeKalb seed corn. He was active in the Carthage saddle club and a member of the Christian Church in Ferris.
Surviving: The wife, Carthage; two daughters: Mrs. Paula Cross, Middletown, Iowa, and Mrs. Karen Johnson, Biggsville; three brothers: Donald and Jim, both of Burlington, Iowa, Max of Clear Lake, Iowa; six sisters: Elizabeth Lott, Jerseyville, Shirley Peitz, Burlington, Peggy Dean, Morning Sun, Iowa, Hilda Saddler, Keokuk, Bonnie Clarridge, Agency, Iowa, and Anna McCullock, Rochelle; six grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Stronghurst Christian Church; the Reverend Charles Coonce and the Reverend John Robinson; Biggsville cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Christian Church Childrens Home.
