Erwin Eldon Goodrich, 82, died March 18, 1997 in Sandy, Utah.

Born May 19, 1914 in Bowie, Colorado to Loren W. and Anna Van der Werf Goodrich. Married Eileen McMahon in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 22, 1939. She died August 21, 1986. Married Anna Melva Cotter in Salt Lake City on September 9, 1987. Began work at the Utah Power & Light Co. as a meter reader and retired after 43 years as head of accounting department. Faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church serving in various leadership positions such as congregational president and treasurer.

Survived by wife, Anna Goodrich, Sandy; children, Sandra Talbot, Raleigh, NC, Carole Ann Rogge, West Linn, OR; Kent Goodrich, Tacoma, WA; stepchildren, Mark J. Scott, Orem; Karla Balling, Madison, WI; Myra Platt, Murray; 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Goodrich, Vienna, VA; Charles Higgins, Newberg, OR; Albert Higgins, Vernal; sisters, Francis Tomlinson, Burien, WA; Colleen Armstrong, Kent, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.

Funeral services Sat., Mar. 22, 1997, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1030 So. 500 East. Friends may call Fri. 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
