Mr. Gregory Dion Simmons, a.k.a. "Big G', 38, of 209 Kerr Street, Clinton, NC., died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Simmons is survived by a son, Dion James Simmons of Clinton, NC; his parents, Denise Lamb of Clinton, NC; and Willie J. Simmons of Acworth, GA; sisters, Latoya F. Simmons of Greensboro, NC; and Carol V. Phillips(step-sister) of Hermitage, TN; a (step-brother) Marc Hasting of Lebanon, TN; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Pugh of Clinton, NC.
The family received friends Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home from 1-5pm, and at First Baptist Church from 6-7pm.
The funeral services were held at 2pm, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Clinton with the Rev. Thomas Farrow, Jr. officiating.
Burial was made in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton, NC.
