PAUL E. KNEPP

Paul Eugene Knepp, 68, of Chartiers Bottom, Clarksville, died Saturday, July 21, 1984, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington.
He was born September 21, 1915, in Magnolia, W. Va,. a son of Peter and Hazel Woods Knepp. He had resided in Clarksville for the past 55 years.
Mr. Knepp was a retired miner who at worked at the Gateway Mine.
He served with the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II.
Mr. Knepp was a member of St. Thomas Church of Clarksville and Chartiers Local 6330, United Mine Workers of America. He was active as a Boy Scout leader during the 1950s and had served for several years as a deputy game protector.
His first wife, Ann Timo Knepp died in 1944.
Surviving are his second wife, Susan Brenzovich Knepp, whom he married November 9, 1946; two sons, William P. Knepp of Golden, Colo., and David M. Knepp of Jefferson; four grandchildren; his stepmother; Cecile Everly Knepp of Carmichaels; fours sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Betty Piccolomini, Audrey Lorence and Carol Soweden Perkins, all of Clarksville; and a brother, Donald Knepp of Clinton, Md.
A brother, Peter Knepp Jr., is deceased.
