Mrs. Kay Robinson Cannon, age 48, of Marion, passed away Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born September 19, 1955 in Buncombe Co. to Arnold Lee Robinson and the late Dorothy J. Elkins Robinson.
Mrs. Cannon was a member of Hefner Memorial Baptist Church, beloved wife and friend, and a homemaker.
In addition to her father Mrs. Cannon leaves behind her husband Chris Cannon, of the home. Also surviving are five sisters, Mary Elkins, of Marion; Wanda Dixon, of China Grove; Judy Robinson, of Marion; Patricia Dillon, of Burnsville & Carolyn Pannell, of Marion. One Brother Gary Robinson, of Marion and a number of nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Montford Cove Baptist Church with the Reverends Bobby Gettys and Harold Burleson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Montford Cove Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association 50 S. French Broad St. Asheville, NC 28801.
