LITTLE, Morris B. (Age 90)

Passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2012, attended by his wife of 70 years (Doris) and his three children.

He was born February 28, 1922 in the Spokane Valley to Jennie and Perry Little, the last of five children (Jim, Vern, John, Grace and Morris).

Morris met Doris on a blind date in 1941 and they were married on April 18, 1942 --- forever to become "Moe & Do".

The young couple moved briefly to Wishram, WA where Morris worked as a steam locomotive mechanic for the Great Northern Railroad. However, he spent most of the remainder of World War II in Spokane as a military aircraft mechanic at Galena.

Soon after WWII, Morris went to work at Watt's Wheel Service in downtown Spokane, an automotive machine shop which he and Doris ultimately purchased in 1955. He retired and sold the business to his son Chuck in 1985.

"Moe & Do" were avid golfers and dancers until about six years ago when health problems slowed them down. They were also very active in the Spokane Shrine, Spokane Masonic Lodge, B.O.F., Spokane Valley Eagles, Moose Lodge, VFW, and Inland Empire Ford V-8 Club.

"Moe" had a great love for old cars, particularly Fords. He loved to restore and drive old "derelicts" and was able to continue working on his last project (1935 Ford Pickup) until just recently. Morris' zest for life and his energy level were unparalleled.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his three children --- Ron (wife Grace), Chuck (wife Judy), and daughter Nancy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.

Private interment will follow at a later date at Spokane Memorial Gardens
