Mark, 80 of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully on September 15, 2015.
He was a Florida Native born and raised in Lee County, Florida.
He began his working career in Real Estate as the first Lot Salesman of Lehigh Acres then opened his own Real Estate business, Mark IV Real Estate in Lehigh Acres in 1972.
He was an avid hunter throughout his life and always had a story to tell. He was a very generous man who will truly be missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife Pat; Son Clint Bateman and wife Robin Bateman; daughter Valorie Van Vliet; daughter Lana Barrett, Seven Granddaughters Blair Buck, Courtney Eason, Haley Bateman, Taylor Van Vliet, Logan Van Vliet, Morgan Johnson, Brittany Johnson; Four Great Grandchildren Carson Ballard, Caden Buck, Isla Buck, Brielle Eason. He is also survived by his siblings Jean Perry and Olive Kapinos.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mark and Almena Bateman and his sons Mark (Butch) Bateman and Jeffrey (Clay) Bateman; siblings Charles Bateman and Vivian Styles.
