Sandra Sue(Arp)Dickson

Sandy was born December 1, 1940 to James H. Arp and Beulah (Bea) Elaine (Clapp) Arp. She was raised on several rural farms in Iowa, graduating from Durant High School, in Durant, Iowa in 1960. She worked for the IRS in several states, including Reno, Nevada, where she met and married Jim Dickson on November 16, 1975. Jim passed away on August 1, 1997.

She held various other jobs, including being a realtor in Reno, and owning several businesses in Elko and Reno.

She was also active in the Red Hat Society and also loved to play slot machines.

Per her request she was cremated and a memorial service will take place at her residence December 1, 2015 between noon and 3 pm.

Survivors include two brothers, a step daughter and step son, and two step grandchildren.

We would like to say thank you so much to the Life Care Center for giving her such good care.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
