Virginia Lucille 'Ginny' Orr, 61, of El Dorado, AR went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2015 at the John R Williamson Hospice House.
Born on August 24, 1954 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Charles R. and Bobbie Wilson Orr. She was a special angel to the entire family. Ginny brought 61 years of joy and happiness and will be missed by many. She was of the Baptist faith and was saved and baptized as a teen at Galilee Baptist Church. She had a special talent with coordinating colors to make the most beautiful pictures which are admired by many. Ginny was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and had attended Bozeman School.
Ginny is preceded in death by her father and a niece, Christy Martindale.
Survivors are her loving devoted mother Bobbie Wilson Orr, sister, Joyce (Jackie) Martindale , nephew, Jay Martindale (Jeri), great niece, Alisa Smith, great-nephew, Jayden Smith, great nieces, Kennedy, Dakota and Lilly Martindale and nephew, Craig Martindale along with great nieces, Hannah and Cameron Martindale, sister, Janis (Tommy) Gates, niece, Jill Gates, nephew David (Jana) and great-niece, Lexi. Also surviving is a brother, Jeff Orr (Tammy) and nieces, Taylor, Courtney and nephew, Jacob Orr. Ginny was loved by many aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Thursday, October 1, 2015 in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob Inmon and Rev. Grant Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Scotland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 30, at the Janis and Tommy Gates residence, 3872 Wesson Road, Junction City.
