Bocos Sur, Philippines, to Dr. Manuel R. and Caridad (Dario) Bello. He married Virginia Louise McFadden and she survives
in Fostoria, Ohio. Also surviving are three sons, Rolando M.,
and Lee M. both of Fostoria, Ohio; and Lenny M., Southgate,
Michigan;two daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Celena M.B.) Runion and
Caridad M. Bello, both of Fostoria, Ohio; six brothers, Jose
D., Emmanuel D. and Abundio D., all of the Philippines; Sol D.
and Guy D., both of San Jose, Calif.; and Urso D., of Maryland; three sisters, Maria Nieves B. Carino, San Jose, Calif.; Maria Caridad B. Castillo, La Palma, Calif.; and Maria Mediatrix B. Arce, Anaheim, Calif.; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Bello was a general surgeon and physician at Fostoria Community Hospital, retiring in 1993. He received his medical
degree from the University of Santo Thomas in the Philippines
and served his internship at Provident Hospital, Baltmore, Md.
He served his residency at the Community Hospital of Roanoke, Va. and served his surgical preceptorship at Smith Clinic, Marion, Ohio. He joined practice with Dr. Emmet Sheeran in 1971 and opened his own practice in 1979. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, Ohio, Seneca County Medical Society and American Medical Association.
