George Hauss was a retired teacher and mail carrier. He was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. David Hauss.

Funeral services were conducted at Bollingers Chapel by the Rev. Mr. Wilkenson and Dr. C. S. Kirkpatrick officiating.

Mr. Hauss was survived by his son, the Rev. R.M. Hauss; daughters Mary Abee, Sally Berry, and Letthar Bowman, and by 21 grandchildren.
