Miss Ashley Lynn Fisher, age 28, of Douglasville passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, September 27, 2015. She was born on March 13, 1987, in Lithia Springs, Georgia, to Mark Laurence Fisher and Stacey Lawson Echevarria. Ashley was a 2009 graduate of Chapel Hill High School. Ashley attended St. Theresa Catholic Church, Shady Grove Baptist Church, and Douglasville First Baptist Church with her family and caregivers. She loved babies and animals and enjoyed music and sports—especially the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: William P. Ivey, Aurora Roman, and Rosali Echevarria.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Stacey and Arnaldo Echevarria of Douglasville; father and step-mother, Mark and Stacy Fisher of Douglasville; sister, Megan Fisher of Atlanta; brother, Nathan Fisher of Douglasville; grandparents: Eddie and Jean Lawson and Joseph and Joan Fisher all of Douglasville, and Joan Ivey of Mableton; aunts and uncles: Scott and Heather Bedenbaugh of Douglasville, David and Jan Fisher of New York, Bruce and Vera Fisher of Montana, Miguel and Lauri Gomez of California, Steve and Marsha Staggs of Texas, Dennis and Sandra Tucker of Florida, Michael and Marvalane Ivey of Douglasville, and Angie Ivey and Steve Goodyear of Marietta; cousin, Chad Lawson; special caregivers: Charlotte and Michelle Springer, Martine Fabian, Marie Supreme, and Gladys Afeku and Elizabeth Irungu.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 3:00 P.M. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Springer officiating.
Entombment will follow in Rose Memorial Park on Rose Avenue in Douglasville with Nathan Fisher, Chad Lawson, Scott Bedenbaugh, Justin Bedenbaugh, Kaleb Cargal and Josh Waldrop serving as Pallbearers.
