Robert Burns Pangburn, 86, passed away on April 9, 1998 in Salt Lake City.

He was born on July 24, 1911 in New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Ludlow and Maude Bonner Pangburn. Robert married Millie Garry, she preceded him in death. He then married Connie Reynolds, later divorced. On June 5, 1983, Robert married Naomi Duncan. He attended Boston University and graduated from the University of Maine. He was in the aircraft industry for 30 years. Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cedar City, Utah. He was a great bowler, having own a gold medal in the Utah Senior Games.

Robert is survived by his wife, Naomi Duncan Pangburn; children, Kathy Evans, LA; John Pangburn, OK; Roberta Tuttle, CA; Carol Schow, CA; Debra Larsen, Salt Lake City; Tema Schott, WA; stepson, William C. Duncan, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild; brother, Clarence Pangburn, ME; sister, Hazel Carpenter, MA.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 13 at 12 noon at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East First South, Salt Lake City. Friends may call one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery.
