Nancy J. Stroud, age 61, of Appleton, went to her eternal rest at Manor Care on Thursday, September 24, 2015. Nancy was born on July 28, 1954, in Appleton, to the late Clifford A. and Julia G. (Pelky) Stroud. She was a graduate of Clintonville High School and a 1978 graduate of Fox Valley Technical College—School of Nursing. Nancy worked as a nurse for over 30 years, retiring as a Nurse Clinical Advisor at Humana Insurance Company. She enjoyed her family—especially adored her grandchildren, Jimmy and Julia. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family, and was well-known as "Camp Grandma."

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie (Jim) Bolssen, Appleton; and their children, Jimmy and Julia, at home; her brother, John (Sandra) Stroud; her nephew, Chad (Jamie) Stroud and their children, Deion, Dakota and Carson Stroud. Nancy is further survived by her special friends Tammy and Willie Woulf; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be observed at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015, at Community Lutheran Church Cemetery, Freedom, with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating.
