She was a native of Milton, West Virginia, and a 37-year member of Severns Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Ward, in 2009 and her parents, Leo Dallas and Franie Thomas Floyd.
She is survived by a son, Timothy Leo (Heather) Ward of Valrico, Florida; a daughter, Tammara Sue (William) Perkins of Cocoa, Florida; five grandchildren, Jennifer Perkins, Michelle Perkins, Michael Perkins, Sandy Ward and Andrew Ward; and three great-grandchildren, Bryce Perkins, Michael Perkins and Peyton Perkins.
Cremation was chosen by the family.
The funeral will be at a later date at Severns Valley Baptist Church with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
