Craig grew up in Deshler, NE and attended Peace Lutheran School then Deshler Public. After school her enlisted in the United States Navy where he served in Japan. He then continued his education receiving his associates degree in accounting.
He was instrumental in setting up the AT&T office in Oklahoma and served as an accountant with different firms. He returned back to Atlanta, Georgia to care for his ailing mother.
Because of his health her retired and raised Scotties for his enjoyment, as he had a special attachment for his dogs.
Craig enjoyed fishing, baking, and making treats for his family. He loved being in God's great outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by brothers; Jon Thieme and wife Brenda of Atlanta, GA, Jimmy Boyce of Colorado, Mark Thieme, Mike Thieme, Gene Boyce both of Hebron, eight sisters; Michelle Young of Parsons, TN, Regina Hoffman and husband Jason of Hohenwald, TN, Rayetta Crane of Kansas, Kimberly Wilkerson, April Carter, Candy McKennie, Billie Beth Arias, and Ginger Vincent all of Beaver Dam, KY, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Following Craig's wishes he was cremated and a memorial service will be held Tuesday September 29, 2015 at The Hebron Bible Church in Hebron, NE at 10;30 AM. Officiant will be Pastor Jeff Friesen, memorial in lieu of flowers in care of the family. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com no visitation cremation. Private family inurnment at a later date. Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
