Franklin News-Herald, March 9, 1966:
Mrs. Rose Ann Over, 66, of 405 W. Central Avenue, Titusville, wife of Ira Over, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in her home.

She was born June 28, 1899, at Enterprise, a daughter of Alexander and Martha Harvey Taggart.

She was first married to Clyde Bearce. He died in 1955.

She and Mr. Over were married November 8, 1958. He survives.

Mrs. Over, a member of the Salvation Army was a former Salvation Army officer in the State of Indiana for three years. She also was a member of the Diamond Grange.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Betty) Gillette of Townville and Mrs. Ralph (Anna) Gilson of Meadville; a son, LeRoy Bearce of Cochranton; five step-children, Mrs. Charles (Martha) Reymore of Reno, Russell Over and Mrs. Wilbur (Alice) Gross of Erie, Hugh Over of Whitings, N.J., and Mrs. Ralph (Glenna) Snyder of Oil City; 23 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Gentry of Muncie, Ind., and Mrs. A.R. Buis of Hartford City, Ind.

Friends may call at the Theodore W. Kuhns Funeral Home in Titusville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and attend funeral services in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Major Howard Burr of the Salvation Army in Erie will officiate assisted by the Rev. Ronald McGinnie, pastor of the Hydetown Baptist church. Interment will be in the Diamond Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Cancer Society.
