Andy A. Anderson, age 58, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his residence.

Survivors include his children, Art A. Anderson and Austin R. Anderson; his mother, Mary V. Anderson; his siblings, Bruce Anderson, Blaine Anderson, Ron C. Stephenson, Gary G. Stephenson, Curtis K. Stephenson, Scott M. Stephenson, Sandra A. Hebert, Cynthia A. Baudoind'Ajoux, Randy A. Anderson, Marty L. Anderson and Stacy L. Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marlowe L. Anderson.

Born on August 13, 1956, Andy was a lifelong resident of Lafayette. He was a graduate of Northside High School and T.H. Harris Technical College in Opelousas. He worked as a technician in the Telecommunications field for many years. Andy will be remembered as a quiet, loving and caring man with a gentle spirit.

The family will have a private service at Lafayette Memorial Park.

The Anderson family extends a heartfelt appreciation to Hospice Compassus for the compassionate care they gave to Andy during his time of need.
