John P. McGraw
John Patrick McGraw. 77, of 312 Cumberland Street, retired night watchman for the City Warehouse, died yesterday morning in Sacred Heart Hospital where he was admitted last Tuesday. He was born in Barton, February 14, 1876. a son of the late John Thomas and Margaret (Reynolds) McGraw. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Prior to his work with the City of Cumberland, he was a mine superintendent at Grafton, W. Va. Surviving are three sons. Francis D. McGraw, Dover, Ohio; and John J. and Edward B. McGraw, at home; two daughters, Misses Julia M. and Anna A. McGraw, both at home; two brothers, Rev. Francis D. McGraw, pastor of St. Francis Catholic Church, Baltimore and Thomas McGraw, Lonaconing and a sister, Miss Anna McGraw, Baltimore. His wife. the former Mary Margaret Bahen died in 1948. The body is at the residence. A requiem high mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a. rn. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. St Patrick’s Holy Name Society will recite the rosary at the residence tomorrow at 8 p.m.
