"DEATH OF LAURA SNEDAKER ~ Mrs. Laura A. Snedaker, age 45, wife of L.C. Snedaker, 431 East Fourth South Street, died Saturday of asthma. She leaves a son four years of age, and her husband survives her. Her sister, Mrs. Fred B. Gillett, resides in this city. She was born in Salt Lake City. The deceased was a daughter of one of the 1847 pioneers, her father, Morris J. Snedaker, having come to Utah with the second company of pioneers that entered Salt Lake valley, reaching here in September of 1847, only six weeks after Brigham Young's company. The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1 o'clock, at the Ninth ward meetinghouse, Bishop Woolley presiding."
