Richard Mathew Brown
Casper - Funeral liturgy for Richard Mathew Brown, 16, will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. Karl Millis officiating. Rite of committal will be at Highland Cemetery.
He died July 25, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident on Casper Mountain Road.
He was born March 4, 1983, in Casper, the son of Gary Jerome and Kathleen Mary (Wright) Brown.
He attended Sagewood School and East Junior High School and would have been a sophomore at Kelly Walsh High School this fall.
He played Casper Youth Baseball through AAA and was on the basketball team at East Junior High.
He enjoyed playing video games with his brothers, riding motor bikes with his friends and riding and jumping his bike.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers of the family home and one brother and sister-in-law of Gillette; a sister of Casper; maternal grandparents of Fargo, N.D.; paternal grandmother; paternal grandfather; and great-grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in Wyoming and North Dakota.
Memorials to the Richard and James Brown Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bustard's Funeral Home.
