The body of Loran Wakefield, who died in Utah several weeks ago, was buried this morning at 10:30. An aunt of the deceased, Mrs. Padison, accompanied the remains to Atchison. They reached here last night, and the body was at once taken to Pardee. Funeral services were held at Salt Lake, and only a short burial service was held today.
After the death of Loran Wakefield at Butte, Montana, the body was taken to Salt Lake and place in a vault there. W.W. Sylvester, an old schoolmate of the deceased, came to Atchison from Kansas City this morning and attended the burial service at Pardee.
