Paula Jo Dixon, age 63, of Lamar, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 23, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.

Paula was born October 10, 1951 in Mason City, Iowa, the first of the six children of Jim and Pauline "Babe" (Blanchard) Rogers. She was a 1969 graduate of Lamar High School and had attended MSSU in Joplin.

Paula was the owner and operator of Embroidery Impressions for many years. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, but her passion was her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Chris Dixon of Lamar; three daughters, Heather (Wes) Harris of Pottsville, Arkansas, Amanda (Scott) Kentner, of Springdale, Arkansas and Megan (Cody) McCollough of Liberal, Missouri; her mother, Pauline “Babe” Rogers, of Lamar; two brothers, Steve (Cindy) Rogers of North Kansas City, Missouri and Russ (Rhonda) Rogers of Independence, Missouri; two sisters, Pat Rogers of Rogers, Arkansas and Sharon (David) Martin of Olathe, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Sharon Dixon of Sullivan, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Joshua Goodridge, Hailey Goodridge, Jake Simko, Sicily Kentner, Eliza Kentner, Rorie McCollough, Chrislyn Dixon, Marrah McCollough, Jaxon Dixon, Kyson Dixon, and Van Kentner; and one great-grandchild, Jayden Simko.

Preceding her in death are her father, Jim Rogers and a brother, Bobby Rogers.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends immediately following the service Saturday. There will be a private family committal service in Arkansas.
