He was a member of Poplar Level Church of God and a United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neil F. Strickland.
Survivors include his daughter, Devin Strickland; mother, Sharon P. Strickland; sister, Debra Rowell; brother, Scott Strickland (Rebecca); uncles, David Strickland (Anita) and Doug Strickland; niece, Patricia Johnson.
His funeral service will be 7 p.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Visitation is Monday at 2 p.m. until service time. Burial will be private.
