Joseph ‘Joe’ Calvin Mosley of Bremen passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 in a local health facility. He was born in Haralson County, August 29, 1932, son of the late William Latimore Mosley and Jimsie Little Mosley. Mr. Mosley was a member of the Bremen First Baptist Church and a member of the Golden Tones Choir. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Batchelor Degree in Risk Management and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Mr. Mosley had twenty nine years of service with the Hubbard Company where he was the assistant to the president of the company and he retired as a insurance agent with Liberty National Insurance Company
In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his uncle, Homer R. Holland; an aunt, Alice Esther Holland and sister, Neysa Coker.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew Elliott and Jessica Link Mosley of Woodstock; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Mosley and William Garrett Mosley, both of Woodstock; nephews, Virgil H. Coker of Anniston, AL and Joe Little Coker of Birmingham, AL.
Services will be Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Brother Herman Parker officiating. Music will be furnished by Andy and Fran Fowler accompanied by Sue Ezzell. Terry Horton, Tim Payne, Joe Sims, Mark Mobley, Craig Solberg and Cliff Coats will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
