PERRYTON — Ernest Willis Hardy, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Church of Christ in Perryton with Elders James Baker and Vince Hardy officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Mr. Hardy was born Oct. 3, 1934, on the family farm near Perryton to Willis and Mittie Hardy. He married Pat Swanson on Aug. 16, 1958, in Lampasas.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheryl Dunlavy of Perryton; two sons, Hugh Hardy of Blue Mountain, Miss., and Vince Hardy of Bryan; a foster son, Kyle Moore of Canyon; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Mavis Hibbard of Salt Lake City; and a brother, John Hardy of Perryton.

The family suggests memorials be to Museum of the Plains or Circle of Friends Cancer Support Group.
