Charles Henry, resident of Wintersville, died at Gill Hospital on Friday
at 8:30 a.m. His death followed an operation for strangulated hernia. He was
born in Muhlhansen, Alsace-Lorraine. He was 75 years of age on September 3,
1928. He had been living in Wintersville since 1914. He is survived by his
wife, who resides in Maryland, and these children at Wintersville: Julius,
James, John and Joseph and Catherine. He was a member of Holy Name Church and
was a very highly respected citizen.
