Frank Martin Yocom, Jr., 84, passed away Monday, December 9, 1996 in South Salt Lake.

He was born March 23, 1912 in Salt Lake, a son of Frank Martin and Elisa Holder Yocom. He married Nona Davie January 12, 1935 in Elko, Nevada.

Frank owned and operated the Daisy Cleaners for 50 years retiring at age 70. He was an avid fisherman and loved going fishing with Nona, his sons and their many fishing friends.

Survived by his wife, Nona Davie Yocom, So. Salt Lake; three sons, F. Ray (Loumae) Yocom, Sandy; David E. (Linda) Yocom, Salt Lake; and Richard M. (Karren) Yocom, So. Salt Lake; three brothers, Keith Yocom, West Valley; Alvin Yocom, American Fork; Gerald Yocom, Centerville, TN; four sisters, Beth Gerritsen, Salt Lake; Mildred Orband, Carson City; NV; Daisy Gehrke, Salt Lake; Margret Holdaway, Orem; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Graveside services will be Friday, December 13, 1996, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet, 1342 East 500 South. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Colonial Memorial Mortuary, 2128 South State.
